Despite Trump's strong lead in the GOP primary, the poll suggests a close race between him and Biden in a potential head-to-head matchup for 2024. Trump currently leads Biden by 45% to 43%, but this lead falls within the poll's margin of error.

DeSantis Remains a Contender, But Gap Widens

Governor DeSantis remains a significant challenger to Trump within the Republican party. However, the gap between their support levels has widened since March. DeSantis' previous 31% support rating has dropped to 28%, while Trump's lead has increased from 2 points to 23 points.
